Clear vision underwater

I needed a new prescription scuba mask for an upcoming trip. Ordered it from See The Sea RX. The ordering process was straightforward; I uploaded my prescription easily. It took 8 days to arrive, which was fine. The quality of the optical glass lenses is excellent. I used it for snorkeling last weekend and could finally see all the fish clearly. The silicone skirt was comfortable, too. Overall, a solid product that performs as advertised.

Decent mask, long wait

I bought a custom corrective diving lens for my existing mask. The customer service team was helpful when I called about my astigmatism prescription, making sure I ordered the right type. It took almost two weeks to get the lenses installed and shipped, which felt a bit long. Once it arrived, the vision was good, and the anti-fog spray they included works okay. The price was fair for a custom product. Just wish the turnaround time was a little quicker.

Good dive mask

I ordered a prescription dive mask. It came in about a week. The lenses are clear and I can see well underwater now. Happy with the purchase.

are their custom prescription masks actually good? or should I just go with SportRx like I usually do?

I switched from SportRx last year and honestly, I'm happier with See The Sea RX. The fit was better for me and the clarity is awesome. Plus, I felt like their customer service was more personal.

They're legit. Had mine for a year now, zero complaints. Optical quality is really good, no distortion like I've had with some other places before.

Does anyone know if they do military discounts? My buddy said he got one but I can't find it on the site.

They totally do. I got one last month for my order. I think you just gotta verify your service during checkout or contact them before ordering.

Yeah, I've heard they have it. Check their FAQ or just shoot them an email, usually they'll get back to you pretty quick.

What's the deal with returns if the prescription isn't quite right or it doesn't fit? I'm always nervous buying custom stuff online.

R Raj 2 months ago
For custom stuff, returns are a bit trickier, but they do have a policy. You should check their site, I think it's more about exchanges or adjustments if it's a prescription issue, not just a straight refund if you change your mind.

Yeah, since it's custom made for your eyes, it's not a typical 'send it back no questions asked' kind of thing. But if there's a defect or a mistake on their end, they definitely take care of it. Always good to double check your prescription before sending it in.

Hey everyone, thinking of getting a prescription dive mask from here. how long does it usually take to arrive in California?

R Rachel 1 month ago
Mine took about 2-3 weeks to get to me in San Diego. They gotta make them custom so it's not like Amazon prime.

Yeah, figure on a couple weeks. It's not off-the-shelf stuff, so there's a bit of a wait. Worth it though.
